Day 1 - Welcome to Luxor East Bank Nile cruise
Collected from Luxor, guests visit Karnak Temple, founded for the rituals of Amun, Khonsu, and Mut, then check in aboard MS Mayfair for lunch. In the evening they head to Luxor Temple by night, one of Egypt's best-preserved ruins. Dinner and an overnight on board follow.
Day 2 - Nile cruise trip to Luxor West Bank
After breakfast, guests tour Luxor's West Bank, starting in the Valley of the Kings where Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other pharaohs were buried. They proceed to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and end at the Colossi of Memnon, the towering statues of Amenhotep III. Back on board for lunch, the cruise sails to Edfu for the overnight.
Day 3 - Nile Cruise Trip to Edfu and Kom Ombo
A horse carriage carries guests to Edfu Temple, an ideal example of Ptolemaic architecture. Lunch is served as the cruise sails to Kom Ombo, where they witness the Kom Ombo Temple built during the Ptolemaic reign. The boat then continues to Aswan, arriving late at night.
Day 4 - Nile Cruise Trip to Aswan Monuments
After breakfast, guests explore Aswan with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, the southern citadel guarding against Nile flooding. They continue to Philae Temple, the worship center of Isis relocated to Aglikia Island. Lunch, evening parties, and dinner aboard MS Mayfair round out the day.
Day 5 - A mesmerizing trip to Abu Simbel Temples
After breakfast and check-out, guests are escorted to Abu Simbel Temple, founded by Ramses II to mark his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Lunch follows at a deluxe restaurant in Aswan before the transfer to their accommodation.
