Day 1 - Alexandria to Giza, the Museum and Saqqara
Meet the guide at Alexandria Port and drive to the Giza Plateau. See the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and valley temple before moving into the Grand Egyptian Museum. Following lunch, continue to Saqqara and explore the stone enclosure surrounding Djoser's Step Pyramid, the monument that opened a new era of royal building. Return to Cairo and check in for the night.
Day 2 - Cairo Museums, Citadel and Port Said
Start with a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum, then have lunch and climb to Saladin's Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization before walking through the historic buildings of Al-Muizz Street and the nearby Khan El Khalili lanes.
