Day 1 - Arrival and Giza Sound and Light Show
Meet the representative at Cairo International Airport and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, attend the sound-and-light presentation at the Giza Plateau, then have dinner in Cairo and return to the hotel.
Day 2 - Giza, Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara
Explore the Giza Plateau and its principal monuments: the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. Continue to selected galleries at the Grand Egyptian Museum, then travel to Saqqara for Djoser's Step Pyramid and the surrounding complex.
Day 3 - Historic Cairo and Flight to Sharm El Sheikh
Visit the Egyptian Museum and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, then continue into Old Cairo for the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue before Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque. Walk along Al-Muizz Street and through Khan El Khalili, then fly to Sharm El Sheikh and transfer to the resort.
Day 4 - Red Sea Snorkeling Excursion
Meet the snorkeling team for an equipment fitting and safety briefing, then travel to a site selected for the day's weather and sea conditions. Enter the water with the guide to observe coral and marine life, allowing time to rest between sessions. Return to the Sharm El Sheikh hotel afterward.
Day 5 - Southern Sinai Desert Excursion
Travel inland with the local guide to experience the mountain and desert scenery of southern Sinai, including views in the wider Mount Sinai region where access permits. This is treated as a separate daytime excursion, not the summit climb scheduled later in the itinerary. Return to Sharm El Sheikh for the night.
Day 6 - Free Day in Sharm El Sheikh
Keep the day free to relax at the Red Sea resort. Swim, use the hotel facilities or arrange an optional activity if available, while preserving enough rest for the overnight departure toward Mount Sinai.
Day 7 - Mount Sinai Sunrise and Saint Catherine's Monastery
Depart during the night for the Saint Catherine area and begin the guided ascent of Mount Sinai in darkness. Reach the summit area for sunrise if weather and pace allow, then descend carefully and visit Saint Catherine's Monastery according to its opening schedule. Return to Sharm El Sheikh after the long excursion.
Day 8 - Fly to Cairo and Explore Islamic Architecture
Fly back to Cairo and tour Saladin's Citadel with the Muhammad Ali Mosque. Continue to the monumental Sultan Hassan Mosque and neighboring Al-Rifa'i Mosque, comparing their different periods and architectural details before returning to the Cairo hotel.
Day 9 - Alexandria Catacombs, Citadel and Library
Drive to Alexandria and begin at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. Continue to Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, allowing time for the Mediterranean waterfront between visits. Check in at the Alexandria hotel for the night.
Day 10 - Alexandria Mosques, Churches and Gardens
Visit Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque and Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, subject to worship schedules and visitor access. Continue to Montazah Gardens and the public area around the Alexander the Great statue, then return to Cairo after completing the second Alexandria day.
Day 11 - Historic Palaces of Cairo
Begin at Manial Palace, the former royal residence known for its eclectic Islamic revival interiors and gardens. Continue to Abdeen Palace according to current museum access, then visit Baron Empain Palace in Heliopolis. Return to the hotel for the final night.
Day 12 - Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport. Assistance is provided with the departure formalities before the flight home.
