Day 1 - Luxor West Bank and Karnak Temple

Leave Soma Bay early for the drive to Luxor. Cross to the West Bank and visit selected tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the terraces of Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch beside the Nile, explore the courts, halls and obelisks of Karnak Temple. Continue south by road and check in at your Aswan hotel.

Day 2 - Abu Simbel Temples

Collect a breakfast box and depart before dawn for Abu Simbel. Explore the rock-cut temples built for Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, taking time to see the colossal facade and interior chambers. Return through Aswan, stop for lunch and continue by private vehicle to your Soma Bay hotel.
