What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember things —
that you have items in a basket, which language you chose, or that you are logged in.
What we actually use today
We want to be straightforward about this: at the time of writing we run no advertising
trackers and no third-party analytics on this website. The cookies we set are the ones the
site needs in order to work.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website to function. They do not track you and we cannot switch them
off.

2. Functional cookies
These remember choices you make, such as dismissing a notice. The site works without them, but
it is less convenient.
3. Analytics cookies — planned, not yet active
We are adding Google Analytics so that we can see which tours people search for
and fix pages that don’t work well. It sets cookies that recognise a returning browser and record
which pages were viewed. These will only be set after you agree through our cookie
banner, and you can refuse them and still use the whole website.
4. Advertising and social media cookies — planned, not yet active
We expect to promote our tours through social media and online advertising. That can involve
cookies from platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and similar networks, which
measure whether an advert led to an enquiry. Embedded social content (for example an Instagram feed)
can also set cookies. As above, these will only be set after you agree. If you click
a social media icon on our site, that platform’s own privacy policy applies once you land there.
Other services that can see your device
- Google Fonts — our pages load fonts from Google, so your IP address is visible
to Google when a page loads. - Hostinger — our web host, which serves the site and keeps security logs.
Search engine tools do not set cookies on you. We use Google Search Console and
Bing Webmaster Tools to check how our pages appear in search results. They verify that we own the
site and report on our own pages — they do not place cookies on your device and do not track you.
How to control cookies
Once our cookie banner is live you will be able to accept or reject analytics and advertising
cookies, and change your mind at any time. Independently of us, every major browser lets you block
or delete cookies — look under Settings, then Privacy. If you block strictly necessary cookies,
booking and language switching will stop working properly.
