Day 1 - Luxor East Bank and Cruise Embarkation
Leave Port Ghalib early and travel privately to Luxor. Meet your guide at Karnak Temple and explore its gateways, courts and Great Hypostyle Hall, then board the cruise for lunch and cabin check-in. In the evening, go ashore to see Luxor Temple illuminated beside the Nile. Return to the vessel for dinner and the first overnight.
Day 2 - Luxor West Bank and Sailing to Edfu
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank and enter selected tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to Hatshepsut Temple and stop at the Colossi of Memnon before rejoining the cruise. Lunch and dinner are served as the ship passes through Esna and sails toward Edfu.
Day 3 - Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Go ashore after breakfast for a guided tour of Edfu Temple, walking through its monumental pylon, open court and roofed halls. Return to the cruise and sail to Kom Ombo. Later, explore the unusual double sanctuary dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, then continue toward Aswan with dinner and the overnight on board.
Day 4 - Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae
Begin the Aswan sightseeing at the High Dam, then continue to the ancient granite quarry containing the Unfinished Obelisk. Take a motorboat to Agilkia Island and tour Philae Temple with your guide. Return to the cruise for lunch, dinner and the final overnight aboard.
Day 5 - Disembarkation and Return to Port Ghalib
Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan station. Take the first-class train to Luxor, where a driver meets you for the private journey through the Eastern Desert to Port Ghalib. Arrive at your hotel after completing the five-day Nile route.
