Day 1 - Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae
Travel from Hurghada to Luxor and continue by train to Aswan. Meet your guide at the station and begin with the High Dam, followed by the ancient granite quarry where the Unfinished Obelisk remains attached to the bedrock. Take a motorboat to Agilkia Island for a guided visit to Philae Temple. Stop for lunch, then check in at the Aswan hotel for the night.
Day 2 - Abu Simbel Temples and Return to Hurghada
Depart before sunrise for the drive south to Abu Simbel. Explore the Great Temple of Ramses II and the neighboring temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Hathor, including their sculpted facades, pillared interiors and sanctuary areas. Return to Aswan for lunch, then travel by train to Luxor and continue by road to Hurghada.
