Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo
Meet the representative at Cairo Airport and receive assistance with the arrival paperwork. Continue privately to the five-star hotel and check in. Dinner is served with a view across the city, after which the evening remains free for rest before the first full sightseeing day.
Day 2 - Giza, Cairo Museums and Flight to Aswan
Explore the Giza Plateau after breakfast, stopping at the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and valley temple. Continue through selected galleries at the Grand Egyptian Museum, have lunch and visit the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo. Transfer to the airport later in the day, fly to Aswan and check in at the hotel.
Day 3 - Abu Simbel and Train to Luxor
Travel south from Aswan to Abu Simbel and tour the two monumental temples built for Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. The guide explains their original solar alignment and the twentieth-century relocation that saved them from rising water. Return to Aswan for lunch, then board the train to Luxor and transfer to the hotel.
Day 4 - Luxor West Bank, Karnak and Flight to Cairo
Cross to the west bank and enter selected royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to Hatshepsut's terraced temple and the Colossi of Memnon, then stop for lunch before exploring Karnak's great courts and Hypostyle Hall. Transfer to Luxor Airport afterward, fly to Cairo and continue to the hotel.
Day 5 - Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast, check out and transfer privately to Cairo International Airport. Assistance is provided with the final departure procedures before the onward flight.
