Day 1 - Nile Cruise Tour to Karnak & Luxor Temples
The luxury cruise begins with a transfer from Luxor and a visit to Karnak Temple, the largest religious construction of ancient times and a pilgrimage center for 2,000 years. After check-in and an open buffet lunch aboard MS Esplanade, guests head to the Luxor Temple, established for the Opet festival and seen illuminated at night. Dinner and the overnight are on board.
Day 2 - Nile Cruise Tour to West Bank of Luxor
After breakfast, guests continue in Luxor at the Queen Hatshepsut Temple beneath the cliffs of Deir El Bahari, then the Valley of the Kings, holding tombs of Ramses II and Tutankhamun. They also visit the Colossi of Memnon, guardians of Amenhotep III, before an Egyptian lunch aboard MS Esplanade and sailing to Edfu. Dinner and an overnight follow on board.
Day 3 - Nile Cruise Tour to Edfu & Kom Ombo
A horse carriage carries guests to Edfu Temple, the main worship center of Horus built between 237 and 57 BC. Back on board for lunch, the cruise sails to Kom Ombo Temple, the dual Greco-Roman sanctuary of Horus and Sobek. Dinner is served as the boat continues to Aswan.
Day 4 - Nile Cruise Tour to Aswan Highlights
After breakfast in Aswan, guests witness the Aswan High Dam, Egypt's first defense against the Nile floods and its largest supplier of electricity. The guide then leads them to Philae Temple, built by Ptolemy II and dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. Lunch and dinner are served on board.
Day 5 - Tour to Abu Simbel Temples
After breakfast and check-out, guests are driven to witness the Abu Simbel Temples, two giant temples carved into the mountainside in 1244 BC for Ramses the Great and Queen Nefertari. Lunch follows at a quality restaurant in Aswan before the transfer to their drop-off point.
