Day 1 - Embarkation/Tour to Luxor East Bank
Picked up from Luxor and checked in aboard the 5-star Movenpick MS Sun Ray for an open buffet lunch, guests discover Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun. Their guide then takes them to Luxor Temple, seen illuminated at night. Dinner and an overnight on the cruise follow.
Day 2 - A Mesmerizing Tour to Luxor West Bank
After breakfast, guests tour Luxor's West Bank, beginning at the Hatshepsut Temple built during the 18th dynasty. They continue to the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon, the two massive seated guardians of Amenhotep III. Lunch aboard the Movenpick MS Sun Ray precedes sailing to Edfu and the overnight on board.
Day 3 - A Fascinating Visit to Edfu and Kom Ombo
After breakfast, a horse carriage carries guests to Edfu Temple, a temple embodying the true spirit of ancient Egypt. The cruise then sails to Kom Ombo, with lunch served, and guests visit the Kom Ombo Temple, the double sanctuary of Horus and Sobek. The boat continues to Aswan, arriving late at night.
Day 4 - A Marvelous Trip to Aswan Highlights
After breakfast, guests witness the magic of Aswan at the Aswan High Dam, a rockfill structure on Egypt's southern border. The day ends at Philae Temple, the last Egyptian temple built in the classical style, born of the myth of Isis and Osiris. Lunch and dinner are included on board, with the overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 - An Amazing Trip to Abu Simbel Temple
After check-out, guests are guided to the Abu Simbel Temples, one of Upper Egypt's crown jewels created by Ramses the Great to immortalize his military victories. They return to Aswan for lunch at a good restaurant before the drop-off at their location.
