Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo and Giza Sound and Light Show
Meet the airport representative and continue to the Cairo hotel for check-in. In the evening, attend the scheduled presentation beside the Giza pyramids, have dinner in the city and return to the hotel.
Day 2 - Giza, Grand Egyptian Museum, Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur
Explore the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and Valley Temple on the Giza Plateau, followed by the Grand Egyptian Museum. After lunch, visit the open-air remains of ancient Memphis, Djoser's Step Pyramid at Saqqara and the selected pyramids at Dahshur before returning to Cairo.
Day 3 - Wadi El Natrun, Alexandria and Abu Mena
Travel north with a stop in Wadi El Natrun, then continue to Alexandria for lunch and a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Proceed to the archaeological remains at Abu Mena and finish at Qaitbay Citadel on the waterfront before the long return drive to Cairo.
Day 4 - Museums, Mosques and Old Cairo
Open at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, then move to Old Cairo for the Hanging Church. Walk along Al-Muizz Street and browse Khan El Khalili before lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrasa, Al-Rifa'i Mosque, Baron Empain Palace and the historic Nilometer.
Day 5 - Wadi Al-Hitan 4x4 Safari
Leave Cairo for Fayoum and change to a 4x4 for Wadi Al-Hitan. Follow the local guide through the fossil displays and designated desert stops, then join the confirmed safari activities and have a barbecue lunch in the arranged Bedouin setting. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 6 - Departure from Cairo
After breakfast, leave the hotel for Cairo International Airport with enough time for airline check-in and security. Departure assistance is provided before the onward flight.
