Day 1 - Arrival to Egypt Land of Pharaohs
The couple arrives at Cairo airport for VIP meet-and-assist and a luxury transfer, then in the evening begins with a Sound and Light Show at the golden Giza Pyramids Complex, where the story of the three pyramids unfolds before a magical dinner overlooking the Nile River at sunset. They return to their hotel for the overnight.
Day 2 - Follow the Footsteps of the Pharaohs in Giza Pyramids
After breakfast the couple explores the Giza Pyramids Complex, from the heaven-reaching The Great Pyramid of Khufu to the commanding Pyramid of Khafre and the graceful Pyramid of Menkaure, then the famed The Great Sphinx and the purification The Valley Temple. After lunch they tour The Grand Egyptian Museum with its Hanging Obelisk and Tutankhamun treasures before flying to Aswan for the overnight.
Day 3 - Experience the Authentic Beauty of Aswan
The couple explores Aswan, from the advanced Aswan High Dam and the mystical The Unfinished Obelisk of Hatshepsut to the Isis-dedicated Philae Temple of the Ptolemaic period. After lunch they take a felucca ride to the colorful, blue-housed The Nubian Village before returning to their Aswan hotel for the overnight.
Day 4 - Witness the Extraordinary Temples of Abu Simbel
The couple sets out with breakfast boxes to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples of Ramses II, honoring his Kadesh victory and Queen Nefertari, with a sun festival each February and October celebrating Ptah, Amun and Ra-Horakhty. After lunch in Aswan they take a first-class train to Luxor for the night.
Day 5 - Uncover the Gems of the Egyptian Civilization in Luxor
The couple explores Luxor, from the 63-tomb Valley of the Kings to the timeless Hatshepsut Temple and the sandstone Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III. After an island lunch reached by boat, they tour the majestic Karnak Temple honoring Amun, Mut and Khonsu with its Hypostyle Hall and avenue of Sphinxes, then fly to Cairo for the final night.
