Day 1 - Arrival to Egypt Land of Pharaohs
The trip begins with your arrival in Egypt, where a representative assists you through passport control and transfers you by private minivan to your 5-star hotel in Cairo. The evening is at leisure to relax and settle in for the overnight stay.
Day 2 - Retrace the Legendary Ruins of the Pharaohs
After breakfast you meet your Egyptologist guide to explore the Giza Pyramids Complex, built by the 4th dynasty around 2600 BC, and marvel at The Great Pyramid of Khufu and The Great Sphinx with the face of Khafre. You then visit The Valley Temple, once used for royal purification, and the vast, billion-dollar The Grand Egyptian Museum before a flight to Luxor for the overnight.
Day 3 - Live Between the Treasures of the Pharaohs
A full day among Luxor's treasures takes you to the Valley of the Kings, the golden funerary labyrinth of New Kingdom rulers, and the elegant terraces of Hatshepsut Temple. You also pause at the towering Colossi of Memnon before a Nile boat trip and lunch, then tour the immense Karnak Temple complex dedicated to the Theban triad.
Day 4 - Explore the Beauty of Edfu and Kom Ombo
Heading south, you explore the remarkably preserved Edfu temple, the Ptolemaic house of the falcon god Horus and site of his mythical battle with Set. You then visit the unusual double-dedicated Kom Ombo Temple honoring Haroeris and the crocodile god Sobek, before continuing to Aswan for the overnight.
Day 5 - Feel the Awe of the Colossal Abu Simbel Temples
An early drive brings you to the colossal Abu Simbel Temples, the rock-cut monument built by Ramses the Great to commemorate his reign and the Battle of Kadesh and to honor his beloved Queen Nefertari. After the visit you return to Aswan for lunch and spend the overnight at your hotel.
Day 6 - Enjoy the Diversity and Beauty of Aswan
Your final day of sightseeing covers the engineering marvel of the Aswan High Dam, built in the 1960s and 70s to create Lake Nasser and generate hydroelectricity, followed by the beautiful Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. After lunch you catch a flight back to Cairo for the overnight.
Day 7 - End of 7 Days Egypt Experience Luxury Holiday
After a final breakfast at the hotel, the Egypt Tours Portal representative transfers you to the airport and assists with departure formalities, bringing your seven-day luxury holiday to a close.
