Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo and Giza Sound and Light Show

Meet the representative at Cairo International Airport and transfer to the hotel. At night, attend the scheduled Sound and Light Show on the Giza Plateau, have dinner in Cairo and return to the hotel.

Day 2 - Giza, Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara and Dahshur

Tour the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and Valley Temple at Giza. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum for the galleries included with the reservation, then have lunch and travel to the Step Pyramid at Saqqara and the selected pyramid sites at Dahshur.

Day 3 - Fly to Aswan and Tour the City

Fly to Aswan and cross by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Continue to the ancient granite quarry to examine the unfinished obelisk, have lunch and visit the High Dam before checking in at the Aswan hotel.

Day 4 - Abu Simbel and Train to Luxor

Collect a breakfast box and leave early for Abu Simbel. Explore the two rock-cut temples dedicated to Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari, then return to Aswan for lunch. Board the included train to Luxor and transfer to the hotel after arrival.

Day 5 - Luxor Royal Valleys and Karnak Temple

Cross to Luxor's west bank for selected tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. After lunch, return to the east bank and walk through Karnak's gateways, courts and Hypostyle Hall before returning to the hotel.

Day 6 - Fly to Cairo and Explore Historic Cairo

Fly back to Cairo and explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Continue to the Hanging Church, Al-Muizz Street and Khan El Khalili, then have lunch before the Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrasa and Al-Rifa'i Mosque. Conclude at Baron Empain Palace and the historic Nilometer.

Day 7 - Wadi Al-Hitan 4x4 Safari

Drive toward Fayoum and change to a 4x4 for the protected route into Wadi Al-Hitan. Examine the fossil displays and marked sites, try sandboarding if available and follow the camel route to the arranged Bedouin lunch setting before returning to Cairo.

Day 8 - Departure from Cairo

Check out after breakfast and travel to Cairo International Airport with enough time for airline procedures. The representative assists before the onward flight.
