Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo and Dinner Cruise

Meet the representative on arrival at Cairo International Airport and transfer to the five-star hotel. Later, join the arranged Nile dinner cruise for an evening meal and traditional entertainment before returning to the hotel.

Day 2 - Giza, Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara and Flight to Aswan

Explore the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and Valley Temple at Giza. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum for the galleries covered by the reservation, pause for lunch and visit Djoser's Step Pyramid at Saqqara. Fly to Aswan afterward and check in at the hotel.

Day 3 - Aswan High Dam, Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk

See the High Dam and hear how its construction changed the Nile valley. Continue to the granite quarry and examine the unfinished obelisk, then take a boat to Agilkia Island for a guided visit to Philae Temple before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 - Abu Simbel and Train to Luxor

Travel south before dawn to the temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari at Abu Simbel. After the guided visit, drive back to Aswan for lunch and board the included first-class train to Luxor, where a driver meets the arrival and transfers to the hotel.

Day 5 - Karnak and Luxor Temple

Spend the morning at Karnak, moving from the monumental entrance through its courts and the forest of columns in the Hypostyle Hall. Break for lunch and rest, then visit Luxor Temple after dark when the stonework is illuminated.

Day 6 - Luxor West Bank

Visit Hatshepsut's memorial temple against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and continue to selected royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. After lunch, stop beside the Colossi of Memnon and return to the Luxor hotel.

Day 7 - Fly to Cairo and Explore Historic Cairo

Fly to Cairo and tour the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. After lunch, visit the Hanging Church, Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, then walk along Al-Muizz Street and finish in Khan El Khalili.

Day 8 - Alexandria Day Trip

Drive to Alexandria and descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa before stopping at Pompey's Pillar. After lunch, visit Qaitbay Citadel on the waterfront and end at the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, then return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 9 - Departure from Cairo

Leave the hotel after breakfast and travel to Cairo International Airport. Allow time for check-in and security, with departure assistance provided before the homeward flight.
