Day 1 - Transfer to Giza from Port Said - Explore the Egyptian Pyramids
Met at Port Said, you drive about three hours to Cairo to explore the Giza Pyramids Complex dating to the 4th dynasty, taking in The Great Pyramid of King Khufu, one of the last ancient wonders, The Great Sphinx carved from a single limestone block, and The Valley Temple used for mummification. After The Grand Egyptian Museum with its Hanging Obelisk and Tutankhamun collection, lunch is served and you visit the Saqqara Step Pyramid of Djoser before checking in to a 5-star Cairo hotel for the overnight.
Day 2 - Discover Old Cairo Landmarks - Retun Back to Your Cruise
After breakfast you visit The Egyptian Museum, Cairo's first museum from 1901, then after lunch tour the Salah El Din Citadel built by Saladin and the alabaster Mohamed Ali Mosque within its walls. You continue to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization with its ancient artifacts and mummies, the Fatimid-era Al Muizz Street of minarets, and the legendary Khan El Khalili Bazaar for shopping, before driving back to your cruise in Port Said.
