Day 1 - Arrival, Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Meet the representative at Cairo International Airport and begin at the Giza Plateau with the Great Pyramid, Great Sphinx and valley temple. Continue into the Grand Egyptian Museum for a guided selection from its galleries, then stop for lunch and check in at the hotel.
Day 2 - Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur
Travel south after breakfast to Djoser's Step Pyramid at Saqqara and explore the surrounding stone enclosure. Continue to Memphis, where surviving monumental sculpture recalls Egypt's early capital and the cult of Ptah. After lunch, drive to Dahshur and view Sneferu's Bent and Red Pyramids before returning to the Cairo hotel.
Day 3 - Cairo Museums, Citadel and Departure
Begin at the Egyptian Museum, then have lunch and visit Saladin's Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization before walking along Al-Muizz Street to the historic market lanes of Khan El Khalili. Transfer to Cairo International Airport at the end of the tour for departure.
