Day 1 - Welcome onboard/Tour to Aswan

The cruise opens in Aswan at the Aswan High Dam, built by Egyptian workers after the 1952 revolution, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk. Guests then visit Philae Temple, the well-preserved cult temple of Isis. Check-in aboard MS Acamar and an open buffet lunch round out a relaxed first day.

Day 2 - Nile cruise trip to Kom Ombo and Edfu

Sailing from Aswan to Kom Ombo, guests visit the Kom Ombo Temple, a rare blend of Ptolemaic and Roman design built between 180 and 47 BC. As the cruise sails to Edfu over lunch, they step into Edfu Temple, raised on the legendary battleground of Horus and Set. The boat then continues to Luxor for the overnight on board.

Day 3 - Nile cruise trip to Best of Luxor

After breakfast, the day covers Luxor's finest sites, opening at the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut dedicated to both a pharaoh and a god. Guests continue to the Valley of the Kings with its 60-plus royal tombs, then the Colossi of Memnon, and finally the Karnak Temple where Amun, Mut, and Khonsu were worshipped. Lunch and dinner are on board, with the overnight on the cruise.

Day 4 - Disembarkation/End of Nile Cruise Trip

After a final breakfast on board, guests check out and are driven to their address in Luxor, ending the MS Acamar Nile cruise.
