Day 1 - Karnak and Evening at Luxor Temple
Meet the representative at Luxor Airport and begin at Karnak, exploring its ceremonial courts, sacred lake and forest of columns with the guide. Stop for lunch beside the Nile and check in at the hotel. In the evening, return to the riverfront and walk through Luxor Temple as its colonnades and carved walls are illuminated after dark.
Day 2 - Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple
Cross the Nile after breakfast to explore selected royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut beneath the limestone cliffs, then take a short boat ride for lunch on an island. Pause at the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the Luxor hotel for the night.
Day 3 - Dendera and Abydos Temples
Leave Luxor for a full-day journey north, beginning at Dendera's Temple of Hathor with its preserved ceilings, crypts and astronomical imagery. Continue to Abydos to examine the chapels and fine reliefs of the Temple of Seti I, including its famous royal list. Return to Luxor for lunch and a third hotel night.
Day 4 - Valley of the Queens, Medinet Habu and Departure
Spend the final morning on Luxor's west bank, starting with selected tombs in the Valley of the Queens. Continue to the extensive memorial temple at Medinet Habu, then stop for lunch before visiting the village and decorated tombs of Deir el-Medina. Transfer to Luxor Airport afterward for the onward flight.
