Day 1 - Luxor East Bank and Cruise Embarkation
Meet your driver in Hurghada and travel privately to Luxor. Join your guide at Karnak Temple and explore its pylons, courts and vast Hypostyle Hall before boarding the cruise. Have lunch and settle into your cabin. In the evening, go ashore for a visit to Luxor Temple under illumination, then return to the ship for dinner and the first overnight.
Day 2 - Valley of the Kings and Luxor West Bank
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank and enter selected tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to Hatshepsut Temple, whose terraces rise against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Rejoin the ship for lunch and dinner as the cruise prepares to sail south.
Day 3 - Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Go ashore in Edfu for a guided tour of the Temple of Horus, walking through its massive gateway, open court and roofed halls. Return to the cruise and sail onward to Kom Ombo. Later, explore the unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, then board again for dinner and the overnight journey toward Aswan.
Day 4 - Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae
Begin the Aswan tour at the High Dam, then visit the ancient quarry where the Unfinished Obelisk reveals how enormous monuments were shaped from granite. Continue by motorboat to Agilkia Island and tour Philae Temple with your guide. Return to the cruise for lunch, dinner and the final night on board.
Day 5 - Disembarkation and Return to Hurghada
Have breakfast on board, check out and transfer to Aswan station. Take the train toward Qena, where a driver meets you for the remaining road journey to Hurghada. Arrive at your hotel after completing the five-day Nile route.
