Day 1 - Luxor East Bank and Cruise Embarkation
Travel from Makadi Bay to Luxor and meet your guide at Karnak Temple. Explore the monumental gateways, courts and Great Hypostyle Hall, then board the cruise and have lunch. In the evening, go ashore to see Luxor Temple illuminated beside the Nile. Return to the ship for dinner and the first overnight on board.
Day 2 - Luxor West Bank and Sailing South
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank and enter selected tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Continue to Hatshepsut Temple and stop at the Colossi of Memnon before rejoining the cruise. Lunch and dinner are served as the vessel sails through Esna toward Edfu, where you spend the second night on board.
Day 3 - Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Go ashore in Edfu for a guided visit to the Temple of Horus, walking through its towering pylon, open court and roofed halls. Return to the ship and sail onward to Kom Ombo. Later, tour the unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, then continue toward Aswan with dinner and the overnight aboard.
Day 4 - Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae
Begin the Aswan sightseeing at the High Dam, then continue to the ancient quarry containing the Unfinished Obelisk. Take a motorboat to Agilkia Island and explore Philae Temple with your guide. Return to the cruise for lunch, dinner and the final overnight on board.
Day 5 - Disembarkation and Return to Makadi Bay
Have breakfast on board, check out and transfer to Aswan railway station. Take the first-class train to Luxor, where a driver meets you for the private road journey to Makadi Bay. Arrive at your hotel after completing the five-day Nile route.
